Mindflick is building a new category - the performance psychometric.
We help teams understand how they work, adapt in real time, and perform under pressure. Our platform combines behavioural science, technology, and practical tools to improve how teams communicate, make decisions, build trust, and deliver results.
Mindflick is a live, proven platform already being used by organisations across business, sport, education, infrastructure, financial services, and the arts. Our clients include well-known blue-chip and high-performance organisations such as NatWest Group, Amazon, Mott MacDonald, Arqiva, Warwick Business School, the University of Nottingham and Royal Bank of Canada. The platform is already being used by leaders, teams, and internal champions to create a shared language for performance.
Mindflick began in elite sport, founded by performance psychologists Dr Mark Bawden and Dr Pete Lindsay, alongside former England Cricket Captain Sir Andrew Strauss. Our roots are in helping Olympians, world champions, elite teams, and senior leaders perform when pressure is high and relationships matter.
Why this role exists
Mindflick has grown through strong client relationships, referrals, practitioner networks, inbound interest, and founder-led sales. We now have the traction, product, client proof, and market demand to build a dedicated growth team.
This role is for someone who wants to build a serious sales career by joining at the point where the product is already live, the client base is credible, and the sales function is ready to scale.
What you will be selling
You will be selling the Mindflick platform and associated programmes to organisations that care about leadership, culture, team performance, adaptability, communication, and behaviour change.
- A live platform used by real clients, not a product still waiting to be built
- A differentiated category story: Mindflick as the performance psychometric
- A product that supports self-awareness, connection, team insight, nudges, team maps, and practical behaviour change
- A proposition with strong proof from elite sport, senior teams, and blue-chip organisations
- A sale that often starts with a team, leadership group, division, or internal champion, then grows through adoption and expansion
The role
We are hiring a Sales Executive to join our growth team.
This is a full-cycle, early-career sales role. You will generate and progress opportunities across inbound and outbound channels, run discovery conversations, deliver product demonstrations, manage pipeline, and develop the capability to close deals independently.
You will not be expected to walk into complex enterprise deals on your own from day one. You will work closely with the Head of Growth and wider team on larger or more strategic opportunities, while building the confidence and judgement to own more of the sales process over time.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to and qualify inbound enquiries
- Run discovery calls to understand client needs, context, pain points, and decision process
- Deliver clear, confident product demonstrations of the Mindflick platform
- Generate new opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting
- Build and manage pipeline using HubSpot
- Progress opportunities through the sales process with discipline and urgency
- Support and close commercial deals, bringing in senior support where needed
- Collaborate with the Head of Growth on larger, more complex, or higher-value opportunities
- Learn the Mindflick category story, product, client proof, and commercial model in enough depth to sell with confidence
What success looks like
- You are confidently running discovery calls and demos with prospective clients
- You take ownership of opportunities and consistently move them forward
- You contribute to both inbound conversion and outbound pipeline generation
- You are building a healthy pipeline and managing it effectively in HubSpot
- You are beginning to close opportunities independently, while knowing when to bring in support
- You are developing strong commercial judgement and becoming more confident in client conversations
What we're looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales, commercial, business development, recruitment, partnerships, or client-facing role
- Experience participating in or running customer conversations.
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Commercial curiosity: you want to understand what clients are really trying to solve
- Confidence to speak with senior people without trying to bluff your way through
- A proactive approach to generating opportunities and following up properly
- Organised and disciplined pipeline management.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where the playbook is being built as we scale
- A genuine interest in performance, teams, psychology, leadership, or behaviour change
Salary + Benefits
Base salary: £34,000
On-target earnings: c. £70,000
The OTE is designed to be ambitious but realistic for someone who builds pipeline, follows up well, progresses opportunities consistently, and learns to close. This is not a speculative startup OTE attached to an undeveloped product. You will be selling a live platform with existing clients, credible proof, founder support, and a commercial model where software licences and programmes can create meaningful deal values.
Commission structure:
- 10% on deals closed end-to-end
- 5% on opportunities originated and closed with support
- Larger or more complex opportunities will be supported by the Head of Growth and wider senior team
Working at Mindflick
- You will join a small, ambitious, collaborative growth team
- You will have direct exposure to senior stakeholders, clients, and experienced founders
- You will be close to the product, the category story, and the commercial strategy
- You will work from our barn in Hathersage, in the Peak District
- You will have the opportunity to develop into a high-performing full-cycle salesperson as the company scales
