My publications
Tim is a performance psychologist and Director at Mindflick, where he leads the Product team and heads up Client Success. He has supported a range of Olympic and Paralympic athletes in Team GB, and brings the same thinking to leaders and teams in business.
Tim's PhD focused on using ‘nudge' psychology in high-pressure performance environments. He has published several peer-reviewed papers on how to create fast, effective change, based on his work in elite sport and how it applies more widely in performance psychology and coaching. His research looked at how a small shift in mindset can ripple out into meaningful and lasting change. It also shapes his work today, from how Mindflick's products are designed to how he coaches leaders.
Every Mindflick product is built on performance psychology and has to make a real difference to the person using it. Tim's job is to keep it that way. On the product side, he makes sure what Mindflick builds is new, easy to use and improves how people and teams perform. As Success lead, he works with clients to make Mindflick part of how their people work day to day, so they get the results they signed up for.
Tim also delivers Mindflick's high-performance executive coaching. His style draws on nudge psychology, the idea that small shifts in how someone sees a situation can make a big difference, fast. His solution-focused approach draws out the strengths and resources each client already has, then looks at how to get the most from them.
