People are at the heart of everything we do. We want our team to be representative of our communities both locally and globally. We want to celebrate difference and learn more about diversity across our team and our stakeholders.
One of our ambitions is to leave a legacy in sport psychology, by creating high quality training pathways which support a new generation of practitioners from diverse backgrounds and who are ordinarily unable to access the traditional training pathways.
See below our goals for 2023 and what we did as a team to work towards them...
Across 2023, we aimed to:
1) Explore ways of expanding and diversifying the talent pool for psychology
2) Increase diversity across the Mindflick team
3) Organise team events which celebrate different cultures and enables the team to learn more about inclusivity
Across 2023, we:
We began working with the UK Institute of Sport to create a training pathway for aspiring sport psychologists, ready to launch in 2024.
Through our expanding workforce in 2023, we increased diversity across the team.
Hosted a DEI workshop across the team to build awareness of DEI and develop ideas across the business.
Hosted a cultural food event. Our team members brought in local and global cuisine from their cultural or family traditions to share with the team.
Hosted national day celebrations from the countries of Poland to learn about different cultural traditions.
Initiated a review of our website, marketing materials, policies, procedures and products to ensure they are representative of our values, desire to be more inclusive and our stakeholders.
Across 2024, we aim to:
1) Promoting well-women and well-men practices across the Mindflick Team
2) Broaden DEI and cultural insights within Mindflick through DEI training and team initiatives
